Pet Photography
My pets were among my earliest subjects. As a teenager stumbling my way through learning the settings of my camera, my elderly black Lab, Rookie, was a patient model. She never complained that I was taking too long. She simply waited quietly as I got it just right or deiced to give up for the day. When I wanted to try again, she was there ready and willing.
Then came along puppies Purl and Fleur, a less patient but ever loving chocolate and yellow Lab duo. After gaining some foundation with Rookie these two tough me to think on my feet and be to ready to capture whatever antics they had in store. To this day when I am need a pick me up I head to the back yard with those two and a camera.
It's the love I have for capturing my pets personalities in pictures that made me want to capture others as well.
